The Rotocone Vacuum Dryer (RCVD), also known as a Double Cone Vacuum Dryer, is a highly efficient solution for gentle drying of heat-sensitive, crystalline, and hygroscopic materials. Designed for the pharmaceutical, chemical, food, and cosmetic industries, the RCVD operates under vacuum to reduce drying temperature and protect product integrity.
Its double-cone rotating design ensures uniform mixing and drying, minimal product degradation, and low residual moisture. The slow tumbling action combined with vacuum operation enables efficient drying without localized overheating or clumping, making it ideal for drying active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), intermediates, and fine chemicals.
Constructed with GMP-compliant materials and available in SS316L, Hastelloy C-22, C-276, and other high-grade alloys, the RCVD is engineered for safe, contamination-free processing in critical industries.
