NOVARIONS FILTRONIX Agitated Nutsche Filter Dryer (ANFD) is an advanced, fully enclosed filtration and vacuum drying system designed to perform solid-liquid separation, cake formation, cake washing, de-liquoring, mixing and vacuum drying in a single vessel.
Designed for the pharmaceutical, API, specialty chemical, fine chemical, agrochemical and nutraceutical industries, the ANFD is suitable for high-value products where product containment, purity, controlled processing and consistent drying performance are critical.
The Agitated Nutsche Filter Dryer combines a robust filtration vessel with an integrated agitator system, enabling controlled cake leveling, washing, re-slurrying, de-liquoring and drying without transferring the product between separate equipment. This single-vessel operation helps reduce product handling, contamination risks and material losses.
During vacuum drying, controlled heating, vacuum and agitation help remove residual moisture and solvents while improving heat and mass transfer through the filter cake. The process can be precisely controlled according to the product and drying requirements.
NOVARIONS FILTRONIX ANFD can be customized with SS304, SS316, SS316L, Hastelloy and other suitable materials of construction, along with different filter media, agitator configurations, heating systems and discharge arrangements based on the process requirements.
The system can also be supplied with GMP-oriented design, ATEX-compatible configurations and PLC/HMI automation, including VFD-controlled agitation, temperature and pressure monitoring, vacuum control, automatic process sequencing, alarms, safety interlocks and batch data logging.
